Documentation for SP6 and SoundEngine

Postby ezraherman » Thu Dec 27, 2018 10:46 pm

Hello all-

I just got the SP6, moving up from a Yamaha digital piano. This has opened up a new world for me. However, the documentation provided is minimal and I'm learning almost everything by trial and error.

Is there anyplace where I can find more complete documentation? Fox example, there are 11 pages of settings that you can edit on a sound but only a few of them are mentioned in the manual.

Also, the SoundEngine apps look like they would be very useful both for understanding existing patches and for creating new ones, but I can find no documentation at all, and trial and error there has not been successful.

Am I missing a resource? All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

Ezra Herman

I had the smae problem with the SP4 and PC editor. The SP4 is basically a PC3LE without all the controls, so I downloaded the PC3LE user guide. This is much more comprehensive.
Similarly the SP6 is basically a Forte SE without all the knobs and sliders. I would download hte Forte SE user guide. Most of the info will apply to the SP6.
Good luck,
