PC3LE OS v2.27?

Postby vladimotor » Fri Aug 23, 2019 7:39 am

Hi, has anyone updated their PC3LE to v2.27? If so, what's new? There isn't much info on Kurzweil site. It says "some improvements", what kind of improvements?
Thanks.

Just some name changes. Nothing major.

Admin: delete if you want.

Earlier in the year I poked around a little.
Names were changed maybe to avoid trademarks?
Affected object types: FXchain FXpreset Keymap Program Sample Setup Song

(sorry, I can't get this to format nicely)
Code: Select all
   Was 2.26         Is Now 2.27
   ---------         -----------
   Bladerunner      Runner
   DX               FM
   Fairlight         Light
   Farfisa         Combo Organ
   Hammond         WhlOrgan
   anything suggesting "Leslie"   Rotary
   Moog            Synth
   Mutron         Wah, or Mu
   anything like "rhodes"   EP
   anything like "strat"   E.Guitar
   Vox            Org
   anything like "wurly"   EP2

Proper names pulled or changed:
Code: Select all
   Animals
   ARP
   Bowie
   Doors
   Elton            E-ton
   Flyd, Floyd      Lloyd
   Jaco
   Lee Michaels      Michaels
   Moby
   Moog            M-  Mg
   Morley
   Zep            Z

Many objects changed size. Programs got about 4 bytes smaller; sample objects grew up to several hundred bytes.

And that's as far as I took it.
