For example, on the PC3 you could decide to choose the following controls - which actually follow the original Juno 6 from left to right across the panel (I had a Juno 6 in the mid 80s) : 

1. Saw / Pulse (mix)

2. PWM depth

3. Sub-Oct Square level

4. Filter

5. Resonance

6. Filter Env depth (using AmpEnv)

7. Attack

8. Decay

9. Release

Mod Wheel = Vibrato

Switch: = Chorus On/Off

You would be missing several controls (including the highpass control, the LFO speed and the noise level), but you can still do a lot. 

Even though there are no buttons to switch the waveforms on and off (on the Juno there was Saw, Pulse and Sub-Oct Square) in the above example I have put both Saw and Pulse on one slider. You do this by using the Output page ‘Crossfade’ parameter, for both Saw and Pulse, making one fade out and the other fade in.

The time of the year to the renewal of the website server and domain is coming. As you all know, this site is NOT sponsored monetarily by Kurzweil. Yes, I work there. No, the company doesn’t pay for this site. That gives us some freedom here to be independent. Every “good bunch of years” I might get a check from the Google Ads that will cover part of that year’s cost only! So, I cannot rely just on that to fund the site.
