I'm a little new to doing Programming on the PC4-SE and seeking some help / suggestions / guidance.  I have a gig in January and we'll be doing Led Zep's "In The Light".


Of the 4 sounds that I'll need to pull this off:


1. "The Drone"
2. "The Lead"
3. Clavinet
4. Bass


...I'm "good" on the Clavinet and the Bass.


On The Drone (the 1st sound you hear)...I could definitely use some suggestions about how to handle it.  Since the sound basically needs to just "drone" on for a LONG time, I'm thinking that the way to do this might involve triggering a sequence which just basically plays the same note repeatedly.  Maybe I use the lowest or highest key on the keyboard to trigger the sequence, and use the 1st Slider to bring the sound up.  When it's time for it to fade out...I just ride the Slider down, and then when it's time to bring the sound back in again later in the song...just ride the Slider back up again.  Does this sound reasonable?  Also, if anyone has created a sound like this and would be willing to share - I'd be grateful.


Now onto Sound #2 - that beautiful "Lead" patch that comes in at about the :15 second mark.  It took me about 2 hours to dial that sucker in on my old (now dead) Roland XV-88, but now I need to recreate it on the PC4-SE.  Again - if anyone has created a sound like this and would be willing to share - I'd be grateful !!


I'll use one of the built in Clavs, and just soak it in reverb, and I've already got a great Bass to use.


Thanks in advance for any advice or "leads" you can share on acquiring that Drone Patch and that Lead Patch !!
