Hi, I searched for this question and I didn't seem to find an answer, so I try here as well.

Does anyone have a solution for seamless setup changing ? There are obvious problems when switching from sample based probrams to kb3s - or sometimes VAST. Even when switching programs it's not fast enough. What I mean is there's a second or so until the KB3 program becomes available - it seems it takes a while to apply the effect, and during that second it doesn't sound. Sometimes that second is very important and it gets very frustrating.

So, is there a way to switch let's say from a piano to a KB3 and then to a synth lead seamlessly using setups ?
Thanks !

Hi,

You need to create single setup which contains three zones (kb3, piano, synth lead) and then use for example zone mute buttons to switch between them without the probelem.

From setup to another or from program to another there will always be the glitch when kb3 is involved. So only way is to stick in one setup during a song that requires seamless program changes.

Good template for this purpose is setup preset 73 (at least in pc3k, if i remember correctly) since it has sw button configured to select functions of sliders and zone mute buttons (kb3 drawbars or whatever has been configured to them).

Hope this helps.

I would think that if you create a setup with KB3, piano and synth, effects will not get allocated to the piano and/or the synth because the double leslie will consume almost all of the effects. So you won't have the same issue but a different /similar issue
