I've created a 'setup' as follows:
Zone 1 - Synth sound limited to lower octaves of keyboard
Zone 2 - Bass sound layered with zone 1
Zone 3 - Pad middle octaves
Zone 4 - Synth Brass upper octaves
Zone 5 - Riff on highest 'C' on keyboard
Zone 6 - Riff on highest 'B' on keyboard
When I play the riffs from the keyboard, the zone 5 riff uses the program from zone 1 and the zone 6 riff uses the program from zone 2.
Why don't the riffs use the program that I used when I created the riff in song mode?

Check you have the midi channels matched up for the zone and the riff sequence. Check if the riff function in enabled in the zones you want, and disabled for the zones you don't want to have played.
