Hello everybody!
My name is Mikko and I live in Finland (the country where everybody wants to be in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baHsoEAAMZU). I recently bought my first Kurzweil product (Forte 7) to replace my old Nord Stage Classic stage piano. Other keyboards I use on gigs regularly are Nord Wave and Korg Minilogue and sometimes some software synths (TAL U-NO-LX2, Monark, Omnisphere, Mainstage synths) . If I have gigs where I just need a good 88-key stage piano, I use my trusty old Yamaha CP33.
I've been also experimenting with different kinds of stompbox effects. I use Strymon El Capistan for tape delay stuff and Neo-music Mini Vent for leslie effect on more organ-heavy songs.

Currently I'm getting familiar with the Artis user interface and trying to learn how to program sounds from scatch with the SoundEditor (which is a little bit confusing to my taste). Although I believe I'll mostly use my Artis for the bread and butter stage piano sounds like piano, rhodes, wurly and organ, it's good to finally have a stage piano that can also go really deep with the synth stuff when needed. I've been avoiding all kinds of workstations and other "screen oriented" synths since falling in love with the hands-on experience of programming sounds with the Nord Wave.

I play all kinds of cover gigs for a living (pop/rock/soul/r&b etc...) and sometimes teach a little bit (I'm getting my bachelors degree in music education this year). I also have two different groups that mix together nordic folk music, tango nuevo, jazz and klezmer music. More synth heavy stuff I get to play in a group called Alec Danger.
