Hi all. John Cascio here. I'm looking forward to all of the learning that I expect to get from this board.

I got my first Kurzwel - K2500X about 20 years ago, and had been playing it steady until the main daughterboard fried at a rehearsal a few months ago. I searched for quite some time for a replacement daughterboard but eventually lost my patience and bought a Forte. What an amazing keyboard! Of course, once I bought the Forte, I found a replacement daughterboard! So, now I have a backup Kurzweil. Yay!

I have been in various old-school R&B/soul bands over the years. I just recently joined an awesome band - 3-Day Weekend. It is a 10-piece band - 3 horns and 3 front vocalists, and of course, Guitar, Bass Drums and me. We do a lot of Tower of Power, Earth Wind and Fire, Chicago, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, etc. covers.

Again, looking forward to sinking my teeth into all of the good stuff here!
