Greetings from the Yukon, Canada,
Owner of a PC3LE8, looking at the new SP6. I prefer the Kurzweil sound over all others. I play mostly instrumental, quiet, peaceful music as a hobby, not as a pro. Been playing for 33 years.

Hi yukonerdan,
I nearly have the same instrument like your pc3le - I own a sp4/7 - same format only less memory capacity.
Are you really looking for a sp6? If you play in a band-context, I think, pc3le should be enough!
Regards and happy new year!
Tom
Thanks for the welcome. I only play at home, and have actually sold the PC3LE8 now. Lord willing, I am ordering the SP6 tomorrow. I like the simplicity of the SP6, and the lightness. Also 128 note polyphony on the SP6 over the 64 note polyphony on the PC3LE. I was the original owner of the PC3LE8 for 7 years. Mint as new, never gigged or taken out of the home. Still had the box, manual, packing, and the little rubber feet. It went to a very good home. I really liked the PC3LE8, but never actually dug deep into it. I have nerves damage to my hands and feet, and complications of past injuries to my spine, neck, chest, and more. I can only sit for so long to play. I have all of the PC3LE programs (from here, and also from David Weiser whom I have been in contact with quite a bit on this decision) that I can load onto the SP6, and I can load any from the Forte SE as well. I have a very good line on a new SP6 for a very good price, so I am looking forward to it's arrival.
