Hello and greetings to all. I am a mid 50's lifetime keyboard player, who took the last 20 years off and is now returning to gigging and playing regularly. I recently purchased a PC3LE6. Despite learning MIDI and recording in the 80's (I loved my Ensoniq EPS, the polyphonic aftertouch was like heaven), I am daunted by the new task of learning this board.
Any help or direction to help would be very gratefully accepted!
Don't be daunted. If you could get your head around the EPS, the PC3LE will be a breeze. Basically its a similar architecture to the EPS, Sample -> Filters & DSP -> Effects, except that you don't need to load your sounds, effects and DSP from disk like you did on the EPS.
The filter and DSP stuff is done through VAST, and Effects is in the effects section, but the working method is similar. Everything is loaded up and ready to go when you turn on the keyboard.

Thank you for your encouragement and support! Had to load the operating system too on the EPS! Installed the new OS today, and some programs from this website. I plan on learning the sequencer first, a little computer daw next and the synthesizer last. I can live with the sounds I have now; I need to find out what this thing does to help with live performances...things I can actually do live on the fly, without a manual.
Thanks again for your message. I hope to learn quickly so I can benefit from everyone here.
