Hi,
I need some help with the following Pink Floyd song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJ7zbzJZsjs
The sequence at the beginning and synth solo. With the pads I'm ok.
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Here's the lead sound for the synth solo part. I used shaped saw through a 2 pole lowpass filter. This program has two layers so you can detune one layer if need be.
Delay is tempo synced so you can use tap tempo for the delay time.
Mod wheel adds vibrato and slider F controls the speed of the vibrato (LFO rate).
Check the INFO-button for more information about controllers.
Hope you like it.
Thanks,

Thanks for your post. Really appreciate it.
I'm still stacked at the intro. I play the first sequence with my nord stage 2 (fm synth) but it is a one fx effect behind and i couldn't program it. I'll be very happy if someone can help me with that sample.
Hi,
Not sure what you mean by a sequence. I hear four different synth sounds in that intro:
The five note main motif, the bandbass filtered white noise fx with delay, a resonant lowpass filter ”drone” and a ”bell” type stereo synth later in the intro.
If you meant the sound of the five note motif, it is fairly simple to program.
Here is a dirty way:
1. Use a KVA oscillator with a (non aliasing) sine wave.
2. Set the amplitude envelope to user mode.
3. Use fairly long attack and (no decay) set sustain level to zero. Also set a very short release time (this is to mimic a reverse envelope).
4. If you have a filter in the algorithm, make sure that it’s cutoff frequency is set so that it passes the whole frequency range through (no need to program or use a filter since pure sine wave doesn’t have any overtones).
5. Go to fx settings and set up a panning stereo (ping pong) delay (you can also add some reverb).
Or
6. Go to fx settings and use a panner fx.
Hope this helps,

I was asking about the white noise fx, but i couldn't express myself. It is the "chew chew chew" sound

I made that sound (by a suggestion of the forum user ) with using the noise as a sound source and a little bit of playng with the knobs and I get very close to the original sound.
If someone is interested i can share the parametars or can simply search on nord user forum.
Hi,
I created some programs and a setup for this song. You can find them here :
