Hi. Just installed the board in my PC361 v. 2.21. It is recognized and tested OK but I can't find any new sounds. I tried the hard reset to no avail.
Any idea what I might be overlooking?
Thanks
JP
Did you perhaps install the non-Kore64 OS version? That won't install any K64 objects.
Curious response you posted. The OP indicated that they have v 2.21 running on the PC361. Are you inferring that there is a non-Kore64 OS version 2.21?

This is not curious at all
...
System 2.21 comes with 2 memory images (PC3OB212.PC3 for keyboard without Kore and XKORE225.PC3 for keyboard with Kore installed), and the user has to choose the correct version to copy into the machine.
If the OP copied the version "without Kore64", probably because he did not have the expansion installed at that time, he has to repeat the installation procedure (at least from the step where the image is copied) choosing the correct image.
Hope this helps ![]()

Thanks, Wasn't aware of this. I am still on v2.10. When I looked at the release notes for v2.20 and v2.21 I did not see any bug fixes nor features that would impact the way I use the PC3 so I've never upgraded past v2.10. Good to know the answer though.

Thanks cecchino. Would've never figured this out. I don't know why they don't note it in the installation instructions.
I believe there is just one OS regardless of If you are Kore 64 or not. But the separate Kore64 object files has to be installed in the same procedure for whatever reasons.
OK time to play.

I'm pretty sure I read this in the instructions when I upgraded the OS a couple of weeks ago (maybe it was in a html document), this is why I remembered this "feature" ![]()
I'm glad you did not have other issues, so now it's time to enjoy your new sounds
