Hi There,
I'm new on your forum. I have recently purchased a PC361 which I am just getting to grips with. I have also just installed the Kore 64 expansion board and am having trouble getting it to work. I wonder if anyone has any tips?
I have installed the expansion board and although the start-up screen recognises the Kore 64 board, neither programs nor setups are available at ID 3200 onwards as expected. I am running OS v2.21. I have followed all the Kurzweil installation instructions for the Kore 64 to the letter, made sure the jumper is correctly positioned on the three pins on the circuit board, installed the board in Bank 1, have reset the objects to the factory ones, have run the test for the board successfully, but I still cant see any of the new sounds.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks and regards,
Richard

Did you load the correct object file? There are two object files available but only the XKORE225.PC3 file is the correct choice if you have the Kore 64 installed.
Edit: sorry, I was wrong, if you have the Kore 64 you should first load the PC3OB212.PC3 file (that you probably did already and then the XKORE225.PC3 file.

Thanks Cecchino

I did get a pretty good email response from Kurzweil technical support leading me through the steps I had missed out. So, I did manage to resolve the issue, and it was as you said: I didnt have the correct object file installed. I do now!

Thanks again.

Richard
