In their defence, I'd say that the Kurzweil piano sound is far from 'toy'. This is a very personal thing, and everyone has differing opinions on a great piano sound. I love my Korg Kronos, but think that they've overcooked the piano samples / programs as they are all attack and quite a thin sustain. The Kurzweil piano sounds seem designed to slot into tracks / bands much more easily and I'm quite happy with them. They are good 'playing' sounds rather than impressive demo sounds. So much so, that I'm tempted to port over patch 842 from my PC-series into the Forte as I loved that one so much - just right for my playing.
