I just bought a SP4-7 and I have a beginner's question. How do I load new sounds to the "Setup" mode banks? I have loaded sounds to the "Program" user banks without any trouble but as they are full the screen says "Load error" when loading more sounds

Hi, you can only load programs or setups, when there is enough memory "memory" means: having memory-places. your sp4 has 64 memory-places and every has an ID. if you want load a program, you must have a free id (place in memory). loading a setup or an input-set (this is a combination of several programs or setups) makes it neccessary to delete enough ids to have enough place in memory. the problem: loading setup - e.g. the wonderful gig-pack of Dave Weiser - contains 7 or 8 programs. so you have to have 8 free ids in your sp4.
another hint for you: don´t (!) use sound-tower-Software. I bought it and I (and many other users - look at the forum) are very disappointed, because sometimes the software damages the whole memory and you have to start new (up the firmware). nearly all functions can be modified and programmed with the keyboard itself!
