Whats the best Mac OS to use with PC3K6?
Whats the ideal setup?
I guess what i am asking.
I am having issues with USB communication, between EL Capitan and the PC3K.
Sound Tower works sometimes , others not.
What is the best way to transfer, programs, samples to and from the PC3K?
Soundtower is terrible software that is buggier than roach motel on the best of days.
Most Kurzweil owners gave up on it a long time ago, preferring to edit patches on the keyboard itself. If you've ever looked at the Kurzweil Video Tutorials and the ones by Poserp you'll never see a single one featuring the Soundtower crap.
As for backing up patches and setups? I just use an 8 GB Flash Drive from Sandisk. Specifically the Sandisk Cruzer. Simplest and most reliable way to backup and restore patches on the PC3K8.
Consensus in the community is Don't use Soundtower software unless you have masochistic tendencies.
