I have downloaded the PC3 sounds from Kurzcom, but I note there are no additional guitars, basses or drumkits...
Are the factory PC3 sounds (downloaded from above) the only ones that can be loaded in? If not, can someone advise where the sounds mentioned above can be found and loaded please?

You can load in your SP4 any file from PC3/K or PC3LE. Better the PC3LE ones as the PC3LE has the same engine as the SP4. With PC3/K programs you might find some issues, as the FX might not fit or you might not have real time controllers in the knob. That depends on how the programs were programmed. But the LE is a very similar system, so those are most likely to work.
Remember to Load Fill in your SP4 when you load PC3/K/LE files.

Thanks Fran...and just to confirm - when loaded in that method, the extra sounds get loaded into slots 128 and up?
Is there a limit to how many? I did read the factory ones are 8 sets of 8, so 64 in total..is this the limit? Asking as I will need to carefully sort out which ones I REALLY want in and those to discard.
Thanks for the tip re PC3LE, they will do nicely I think...Do I just download them from KurzCom as well (from the PC3le section of course)
By the way, super support on this fourm- so quick with replies. It makes a nice change to some I have been at (non-Kurz)

Yes, only 64 slots for your user programs, so, yes, you will have to do this:
- load a file
- Delete the programs that you don't like
- Load another file
- Delete the programs that you don't like
- etc...
Then, SAVE your programs so that you have a backup of the sounds you like.
