I consider to buy an Artis7 and I want to know, whether the modifications of programs could be saved "on the fly" (= on stage). In my SP4/7 it is not possible and I have to use the terrible (!!!!!!!!) sound-tower-sw.

Let me make an example to show my Problem:
Using a Rhodes-Sound, I want to increase the "beating" of the hammers.
In my SP4/7 I can increase this by dialing the knob, but changing the program, the modification is away.
So I have to configure a setup (e.g. left hand bass), save this setup and later I modify the setup in the "Rhodes-zone".

I hope, using an Artis enables saving "on the fly", so that my modifications are conserved after pressing the SAVE button.

Thanks a lot for your help and cheers!
Thomas

According to the manual, it depends on how the program is designed. The save button, when in Program mode, saves in a program the current position of all the controls (sliders, wheels, etc.) so every feature (effects, resonance, drawbar configuration in kb3...) assigned to a control will get the value you saved when you recall the saved program.
For deeper editing, on the contrary, it seems you'll still have to use the multi-edit mode.

Thank you very much. I read the manual, too and I think, this solves my problem.
I also asked the Kurzweil Support and (Everytime-Helping-Hand-Jean) explained the differences between my SP4/7 and an Artis7. This was nearly the same Information.
When I get the complete Information, I will submit it in this post.
