Based on what can be heard on the Division Bell/Endless River and Pulse, does anyone have any sort of guess if what was used whether programmed patches or stock patches? I know a good chunk of the patches are samples from the old analogue instruments so besides for those ones. I assumed quite a few were programmed, but I wanted to see if people who know better than me can tell by ear. Thanks!

Everything was programmed. Jon Carin confirmed this in a video on YouTube.

The Endless River definitely has some Korg Kronos thrown in there as well. But as I remember it, The Division Bell was mostly K2000 with a bunch of old keyboards sampled in pre-production. For the live shows (Pulse tour), I seem to remember it was 2 K2000s and 2 K2000Rs plus a few extra (RW still had his 250 or Motherboard as his 'piano' at the front). I seem to remember them saying that almost everything was run from those - and they maxed out the sample memory - and that Jon Carin did a whole pile of programming in Program mode rather than use Setups.

(not sure if it made it onto the album, but the videos from the Endless River jams do show a Roland JD800 as well)

Hmm, yeah I kind of thought that most of it was done through VAST. I could've sworn that some of it was stock sounds like some of the string pads. Like when you listen to some of the bits on the Endless River, a sizable amount sounds almost stock (or at least based on the stock). I'm trying to sit here and figure out how to recreate a lot of the programmed patches. A lot of the synth work on these albums were very nice
