I recently purchased and installed the Soundtower editor for SP4-7. However, it shows that it is for the PC3 but the image on the bottom of the software shows the SP4-7 keyboard. I am told that it should work on the SP4-7. I am running Windows XP on my computer and cannot get the program to read the keyboard. It's not recognizing the name of the keyboard under the midi settings. Been back in forth with some person named Kris. I assume this is a she, but am not sure. She keeps telling me there is some conflict with my USB settings in the computer or even perhaps something wrong with the USB on the keyboard. I don't buy this assertion b/c I am able to move files to the the keyboard and I am able to use the keyboard as a controller. USB port works on both computer and keyboard.
I have also loaded the same software on a newer computer using Windows 7 Professional. This time, I am able to get it to read the keyboard name under the midi settings but when I go to transfer the data from the keyboard to the computer---it doesn't do anything.
I am getting aggravated. I see a lot of other people on this site say the programs stinks. Can anyone offer me any suggestions on where to turn next? I wish they would write the program for the IPAD, but I suppose they have so many irons in the fire working on other software they cannot dedicate the time/money to do it. I am at the point now where I want a refund, but doubt they will give me one. Thanks for listening to my problem. Louis
