Hi all,

my fairly new PC3LE6 (1 year, 1 month) is troubling me. Sometimes, a single or maybe two keys just stop working. Swichting on/off or transpose does not change anything. After a certain period of time, the problem goes away. However it is very sad to play a song on stage with two F# missing... So far, the problem is not reproducible.

Furthermore, on key shows a different behavior in response. If played with the same force than others, in approx. 50% of cases it is significantly lower in volume.

Anyone experierenced a similar behaviour so far?

Thanks in advance,
Seb

Sounds like dirty key contacts.

A video is worth a thousand words.

Here's the best youtube showing you step by step how to do this repair yourself.

Gary ;)

BTW, this shouldn't be happening on a year old machine.

This is the best reason of all to keep your board under a dust cover or inside a case at all times when not in use.
