Hi,
I'm Dirk and I'm living in germany near the baltic sea.
in 1984 I startet with music and become the all-in-one-engineer-and-mixerman first.
Later I began to play keyboards with a toy with very very small keys.
My first own synthesizer, bought in 1990, was a yamaha SY22 (the one from the FM/AWM/VECTOR-Series), added by a korg DW-6000. For piano I added a 9,5'' modul AKAI sg01p.
in the later 90s I got a DX7 and a flexible and loved korg n5.
For creative moments I used a yamaha QY10, nice at train at way to/from work.
From 1990 to 2002 I played keyboards in a band, mostly own stuff.
Some rock like 80s rock was to some harder stuff, but not entering metal.
Additionally I was a foh/monitor/light-and-so-on-man for a cover band in the 90s.
The man with the wiring iron and the gaffa tape.
Now my childs left the house, playing by thereselves (drums, flutes, piano) and I will reactivate myself.
So I sold out my old equipment and bought a kurzweil PC3LE8, because of
a) the weighted keyboard and
b) I dont want to play with 3 keyboards again, reducing to one if possible.
I decided to the LE because of half the money to the K or A series.
When I will start using it (and not only playing with functions to learn) I hope, it will be the one I was looking for.
So I hope to get some help and some tips from this list - I will give it back if I can.
Dirk
