Greetings from Vienna, Austria.

I just bought an SP4-7. I'm basically a jazz pianist who plays acoustic pianos. I worked a solo piano gig here for about 17 years. I have a Rhodes, but at my age and with no car, I needed something lighter and smaller. Back in the day, I can remember hauling a Fender Rhodes and two amps alone on the subway. That was back in 1983. I swore I'd never do it again, but did at least twice.

It would be nice to play a hammer-action 88-key instrument, but since you don't really feel anything, I think the lighter action of a semi-weighted keyboard will be fine. I like the nuances in sound on the Kurzweil acoustic piano emulations, but the midrange is maybe guilty of being a bit thin or tinny as charged. I suppose if properly EQ'd it would be fine.

Since some of you folks have been so kind as to give away trade secrets and files, I'm writing this to get access. I'll post something worthwhile in the future if I make any discoveries.
