Hi everybody!
My name is Norbert, I live between the mountains of the Eastern Tyrol in Austria.
At the moment I am close to 39, family father of three boys, and hobby musician for all my life.
I've been playing on the keys since my age of six, when my uncle gave me a Bontempi as a present.
I was never really taught to play it, and up to the present day I have no idea how to read or write any score.
But somehow I must have found out my own way, which enabled me to get around quite well with several bands during the last 20 years.
The "hall of fame" of my brave instruments includes:
(Age: 6) Bontempi Hi-Fuga HF26
(Age: 12) Fujiha F-2000
(Age: 19) Yamaha PSR 520
(Age: 23) Yamaha CS1x
(Age: 25) Korg Trinity V3
(Age: 37) Behringer UMX610
(Age: 38) Kurzweil PC3LE6
After 14 years, my Korg Trinity has retired. About one month ago I bought my Kurzweil PC3LE6.
As my favourite music is the classic rock of the 70s and 80s, the sound palette of the PC3LE suites me very well.
With my bands, I play a lot of cover versions of rock, disco funk & soul and even punk.
I like the PC3 Wurlies for Ray Charles' "Shake your tailfeather", the Clavis for Stevie Wonder's "Superstition", the Moog sounds for various Pink Floyd Songs, and I am totally keen on the Hammond Sounds for playing Deep Purple and Uriah Heep. The KB3 system was the main reason for getting the PC3LE.
So far about me. I am glad to be on board.
Best greetings
