I've just signed up having taken the plunge with a Forte 7 (having given up waiting for the PC4...).
I'll be mainly using it alongside my electro 5D in a Crowded House tribute I play in, and for a Bon Jovi tribute I've started dep'ing for. I'm also planning on using it more creatively for one of the originals projects I'm involved in.
For the Crowded House band I've been using the electro with a Sledge up until now - mainly using the sledge as a controller, but also for the synth sync sound on I Got You. For the Bon Jovi I've been using my PX5S with the electro on top. There's a lot I like about the PX5S, but have got nervous about its reliability for gigs that pay reasonably well.
My plan is to create all new Forte multis for both that can work just on the Forte on its own, but that can also integrate well with the electro - sometimes using the electro just for extra key real estate or lighter action controlling Forte patches, and sometimes using the Forte to select a patch for the electro where it can possibly do a better job e.g. for organ patches. I've got working proofs of concepts set up for both those scenarios now (after some head scratching).
