Just traded my Korg M50 and $500 bucks for a PC3.
Realized right away just how awesome my M50 was compared to the PC3.
Oh well, live and learn eh?
Way more guitars, nice realistic distorted ones, way more solo synth sounds, and even the pianos were decent, and all this with the touch screen.
Sounds like I regret the trade, but I guess I really got it for the orchestral patches anyway.
Maybe I'll have something to offer here eventually, but for now I'm hoping to find a few good famous synth sounds from say....Rush, the Cars, or Styx. And I'd love to get just one good electric guitar sound for chords, and one nice lightly distorted guitar for songs by Santana, Pink Floyd, etc. Something usable unlike what the PC3 has from factory.
Ok, so that's my intro.
PS: Keyboards I've owned since I can remember: just about every Casio known to man, Ensoniq VFX SDII, E-Mu Proteus one, Yamaha MO8 and MO6, Yamaha MM6, Korg Triton Pro, Korg M50 88 and 61 and now Hooray!! PC3 which I've waited for since it first came out.
