Hi there,

the name is Štěpán but I'm quite used to any similar variation used in the world - Steve, Stewie, even Étienne :P

27 yrs old teacher of English and Music at an elementary school in Blansko, a small town (23k ppl )in the Czech Rep.

Been playing in a cover band for eight years now, approx. 50 gigs a year (5 to 8 hour long, with breaks ofc). We play music from the 30s up to contemporary one, mostly Czech and Slovak, but some songs are English, Spanish or even Portugese. You can check our web http://www.prorock2.cz/ or search PROROCK2 on FB, but I'm warning you - we are no pros, just a bunch of people sticking to the tradition (the band has existed for 25 yrs now, but people come and go). I kind of managed to build up a smoking and drinking habit in this parttime job as well :P

I started at some old Yamahas, but my first synth was Roland Juno-Di... sadly split and layer was not enough and after a few years it had to go. Tried some Korgs as well, destroyed one keyboard completely by burning the keys by cigarettes and then sawing off plastic parts of the instrument, been fun though :)

Like four years ago I got my PC3LE6, created some basic patches to use, but I found it quite difficult to work with the instrument, all those layers, FXs, aftertouch which I wasn't used to... so I got myself a Nord Electro 4D 61 and kept Kurzweil as a lower manual to fill the songs with strings, pads, and so on...

A week ago I took PC3 home to clean some keys with lowered/increased sensitivity and decided I would search the Internet for some patches, so I wouldn't have to create them myself, and here I am :)
