Hello everyone,

I would like to add my greetings to the introduction page.

I live in England (near Nottingham) and purchased my first Kurzweil (Kurzweil PC3k7) in very late December 2012. I have returned to making music as a hobby after a long break of several years. When I returned to my hobby, I thought about working with soft synths but I missed the immediacy (and playabilty) of a powerful workstation type synth.

Whilst I had some spare time over the Christmas break (always dangerous), I began researching some synths (Yamaha Motif, Roland Fantom, Korg Krono etc) but then I came across some demos of the Kurzweil PC3K. I don't know why I hadn't considered this before but I was intrigued by the power and flexibility of VAST. My decision to purchase a Kurzweil was based almost entirely on watching the excellant tutorials by PoserP and others, showing the power of VAST.

I am so pleased with my Kurz and I am now working with a vocalist (which was even harder to find) and we are writing our own material and hopefully we will be able to start recording some track soon.
