New to the forum, just introducing myself. I am strictly a hobbyist, I don't gig or play professionally in any capacity. My interests in connection with synths are primarily progressive rock and Berlin School EM. I'm very much into sound design. My Kurzweil gear consists of a PC3K8 and a KX2V. Over the years, I have amassed a nice collection of other gear as well, most of it picked up second-hand: Yamaha DX7II and SY77, Korg Kronos, DSI Tetra, Matrix 6, Roland V-Synth XT, D-550 and Integra 7, Kawai K5 and K5000, Waldorf Blofeld, a whole assortment of VSTs, etc. I have been involved in synthesis since the 70s; my first experiences way back then were with an ARP 2600 (which I did not own) and a homebrew modular system built by some friends, to which I contributed a few design ideas.
