I have played guitar in classic rock garage bands for 35 years. My teenage daughter started playing piano a few years ago, so we got a small grand piano for the house. I learned a few simple Beatles songs on the piano but didn't really become very good at it.

A year ago I joined a band that was replacing a guitar player and a keyboard player. We decided that I would try learning some simple keyboard parts for about half the songs and that's worked out pretty well. With some gigs coming up, it's time to upgrade from my Yamaha MX-61 to something more suited to the stage.

I am looking forward to getting an Artis 7 as soon as they are available in Canada.
