I'm a new member... Tom Davis. Not a professional musician, it's just a hobby for me. After many years away from Kurzweil (bought a PC3X years ago and eventually sold it) I just recently purchased a K2700.  I also have a Nordstage 3. I've tried most of the other workstations over the years, but in the end I think Kurzweil has the best sounds out there.  I like my Nord because it's super visual and tactile with the all the knobs.. easy to follow. But the sound library while very good, is not as good as Kurzweil in my opinion.  I'm at the point where I want to learn to work in VAST and thought this forum would be a great place to connect with others who love Kurzweil.
