Well what a new world this is. Its like I have landed on planet Kurzweil.

I'm Daz from the Land DownUnder. Have been playing keys for the last 30 years. Have always wanted a Kurzweil and now the time has arrived. The Forte 88 is an amazing beast. I've had Korgs and Rolands in the past, but my current rig consists of a Yamaha Motif XS 88 and the new Forte 88.

All of my sequencing is done on the Motif XS, which is fine but wanting to ask others about their experience with sequencing songs on the Forte. Particularly, the learning curve.. where to start, ease of use, how they setup for new songs, use of effects, any polyphony issues, prefer to use software or just use the Forte directly for programming etc etc. I'll have a look on this site as well to get a feel for what people do.

Anyhow back to exploring the beast !
