Hi friends,
My name is Jim Alfredson and I'm mainly known as a jazz organist. However, I've owned and used synthesizers since the age of 10, my first being the venerable Yamaha DX7, the original brown model, which I still have. Through a partnership with David Weiser of Weisersound, I have a Forte7 and SP6. I use the SP6 mainly for blues and jazz gigs and the Forte7 I am using for larger gigs such as my work with Detroit's "Queen of the Blues" Thornetta Davis and Echoes of Pink Floyd, a tribute act based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
I've done some quick and dirty demos of the Forte7, one of which you can see here: https://youtu.be/hi_oYQ68yhM
I've been spending several days programming custom sounds for the Pink Floyd tribute, using custom samples. I'm also using some of Enjoy The Sirens' sounds, like his glorious Shine On multi (nothing better).
So that's me! Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!
