I am not new to this forum, but as I experienced full windows crash recently, I had to renew my account.
I had K2661 from 2004 to 2013, then replaced it with PC3K (obviously sample storage is impotrtant to me).
Plan is to move to Forte, but some family priorities might postpone that for few month, maybe a year.
In a meantime, I collect sample material that Forte will host in "cherry pick" style, and complement Rom samples.
I am very found of piano sounds, vintage keys, synths, orchestral, and all sorts of unordinary sounds, such as ethnic string sounds. PC3K with its Kore64 (and I've been told that Forte shares the very same sample set) is very strong in percussion sounds, but (plucked) strings is what I found in Bolder Sounds Eclectic collection. Recently I managed to purchase Mike Pinder Mellotron collection (over 500 Mb of Mellotron and Chamberlin sounds) and with few exceptions, I found those very authentic and musical.
Is this o.k. for not very first post?
P.s. I am also part of Mastering Vast forum (with practically same nick).
