I'm an elderly musician from Germany, Freiburg region.
I've been a musician all my life, learned to play the piano, the church organ, the violin, upright bass and the rhythm guitar. I've been playing for long times in various rock bands, gospel choirs, jazz bands and even dance music bands. I've been asked to accompany folk singers, classic solo singers and many instrumentalists. I've also been playing bar jazz for about three years on ocean cruisers.
And today I'm still performing the older and newer swing standards in public with a little jazz quartet.
Two years ago I bought a PC3x as the piano sounds and the keyboard itself meant to me a quite good compromise. I still develop my knowledge in music affairs, these days I'm very interested in smooth jazz arranging and playing. And now I want to record my tons of own ideas in my own little studio.
I've been lucky to find this site as this might help me to increase my knowledge in kurzweil techs. Once I want to be able to program my own sounds as I hitherto only use the factory sounds but still dream of own sound creations. So I hopefully joined this community.
