That's "Sha-MORE-ah" - it's Polish 🙂
Hey, I grew up on an Ensoniq ESQ-1 / SQ-80, then upgraded to a Roland XV-88 - which just recently started giving up the ghost.
I'm now the proud owner of a PC4 SE and it's my very first Kurzweil product.
I'm quite excited about this particular Forum given the emphasis on sharing Sounds / Patches / Programs (not sure if one of those is more "correct" than another these days). I spent WEEKS programming Patches on my XV-88 and have a LOT of learning to do before I feel I'll be proficient programming on the PC4 SE.
Since I'm a TOTAL newbie with this keyboard, I'm hoping it's OK to throw out some immediate needs I've got...perhaps someone can push me in the right direction:
1. I see there is a thing called the "Controller". There is an installation guide, but nothing that tells me what it IS or what is DOES. Is there documentation on the "Controller"
2. Similarly, there is also a "Plug" (PC4SE PlugSE.dll) which I'm assuming is a "plug in". But a plug in for WHAT ? What's it DO? Is there any documentation on this as well?
3. Lastly - I got excited to see https://ksetlist.com/community/l/led-zeppelin-kashmir/#post-8695 because I am in need of a Led Zep KASHMIR patch, but the only thing I see in this post is some text: "363 "Kashmir Str+Brs" Preset Program" - and I'm not sure what that means. Preset 363 on my PC4 SE is "Marcato Mix 3". I was expecting a downloadable sound like the one show at https://ksetlist.com/community/l/led-zeppelin-all-of-my-love/ Am I missing something? (I DO need a Kashmir patch for an upcoming gig)
Thank you much !!

Welcome aboard!
The Controller is a small app that lets you control your keyboard from external via MIDI. Not full editor.
The Plug-in helps you if you are sequencing with a DAW, so that you get all your program names, etc. directly there. Not strictly necessary for sequencing, but helpful.
As soon as you posted this first email, then you are able to download sounds and you will see the files.
Welcome and enjoy,
Regards,
