I'm a long-time Kurzweil user (K2500RS, several PC88 and PC2X) joining this great forum and thinking about buying a PC3K8 to replace my old and trusty PC2X. Just wanted to say hello to all of you!

ja, ich habe es endlich mal geschafft, mich hier anzumelden. Wie schon geschrieben überlege ich mir, einen PC3K8 als Ersatz für meinen PC2X zu holen. Vielleicht kannst Du mir ja direkt eine Frage beantworten: Kann der PC3K SysEx-Befehle, die entweder am USB-MIDI (ich vermute mal eher nicht) oder am "normalen" MIDI-Eingang anliegen, mit eigenen Noten-Befehlen mergen? Mein PC2X kann das nämlich nicht - hier werden SysEx-Befehle rausgefiltert. Wenn das ginge wäre das praktisch, weil ich mir dann den MIDI-Merger von Kenton und ein wenig Verkabelung sparen könnte...
@all: Sorry for posting in German here...just wanted to ask if the PC3K is capable of merging incoming (at USB-MIDI or MIDI-In port) SysEx data with it's own generated MIDI data, and send them both to one of the MIDI-Out/Through ports. My PC2X is filtering out all incoming SysEx data and doesn't pass them to the Out/Through ports...
