Hi all,
introducing myself:
I live in France near Grenoble.
I own a PC3K8 which I discover because I've just bought it yesterday!
I play keyboards in a pop/rock/variety band.
I played mainly Roland keyboards and I wanted to change my stuff for the live and I've choosen Kurzweil.
Hope it's a good choice.
Cheers
Yann
welcome yann,
it's a good choice , kurzweil keyboards need work , like other trades, but you can get good sounds , with high quality
yes, first limitation with the 128mb memory.
I've purchased my pc3K8 with epic grand piano libraries and no more ram to import samples
Is it possible to import just some samples from a pc3K file?
Thx
Yann
I don't know this soundbank, but i may know there is many sample sizes to buy ?? so you can save one sound on usb , and delete all of this bank, to load only what you need after. the best way is to initialize pc3k and load sound after.
But it will be difficult on pc3k , to have good pianos and enough memory for others synth sounds.
Perhaps you may try some sounds pianos programmed by DAVE WEISER : http://www.weisersound.com/ and it let you to have all ram memory for other samples .
After, it's possible that you didn't bought the keyboard you need , you thought about FORTE ?
Thx for your answer.
I'll delete Epic sounds as I don't need these piano sounds.
I think the PC3K8 pianos are well for me, as I play in a rock band.
And PC3K8 is the best scene keyboard as there are a lot of controls, and possibilities, but so long work to master it.
I tried Clavia nord stage 2 and IMO I've found Kurzweil much better on many sounds.
Cheers
Yann
