Hi Will! Your 'playing 25 years on Kurz' comment caught my eye. I am a 50's guy who took the last 20 years off from playing. My last board (before the PC3LE I just bought) was the Ensoniq EPS. I bought this Kurz for the aftertouch, and can't find any programs that use it. I loved the aftertouch on my EPS and hoped to use it on this board...
I am looking for general guidance on how to get back into all this...I play in a local bar band and want to use the board to improve our performances. I picked up a ZoomR8 so I can avoid learning DAW for awhile until 8 tracks are not enough. I am a bit overwhelmed at the task of becoming familiar again with sequencers, synthesis, midi, controller assignment etc. And of course, the Kurz manual is massive, with all the updates to the OS and those manuals too...
I need something that gets me restarted simply and with the easiest to relearn stuff first. Any direction from you would be greatly appreciated.
