Hello everybody,

I am a German user of the PC3K8 / Kore 64, which I bought in Oct 2014. In the 1990s I worked with a Korg Wavestation EX, Roland D-70 (as Masterkeyboard), Roland D110, Oberheim Matrix 6R, Kurzweil Micropiano and created a good live sound with this equipment. My home is rock music from the 1970s to the early 1990s. Doesn´t mean, that here and there a cover of younger rockbands will not be done.

When I started to work with the PC3K I first was completely helpless because I couldn´t understand how mighty this device is. My understanding was caught in the world of the 1990s.

Then my job required my entire energy and awareness until I founded a new band last year. To make sure I have the fitting sounds for each song, I started to have a deeper look at the facilities the PC3K offers. Reading the manual and watching the appropriate Videos helped. Now I started to shape presets and program my first sounds. Yesterday e.g. I made a setup which represents the intro of "Davy's on the road again" in the version from the album "Watch" by "Manfred Mann´s Earth Band".

Perhaps there are some people in this forum who share the passion for the above mentioned music genre and we can help each other with Kurzweil sound programs.
