i ve just discovered this website and i liked the concept : sharing famous sounds recreated on kurzweil VAST.
I own a K2600XS among many synths ( the favorites i own are: Obxa, moog source, tr 808,Drumulator,wavestation,M1,D50,Sy 99,ys 200,Fs 1r, Matrix1000,matrix 6, Dmx, Emulator II, JUNO 106, SE1X, kurzweil Pc88..) . i am planing to buy quickly a Pc3k also as i love kurzweil ...
my first kurzweil was a PC 88 and it was the best sampled accoustic piano evermade with the k2500 piano rom in my opinion at the time and ten years after is launching was still very good....kurzweil gear are always very musical....
KURZWEIL is talented to squeeze in a very very small amount of rom sounds that are better than sounds using dozens of mega of rom or cd rom!
Anyway....
i like all kind of music : classical, easy listening, jazz, fusion, dance, electro, electro pop, electro rock, pop punk, hip hop , rnb,soul,reggae.
For me any style can be great to listen, just the talent make the diference between a great and shit song but the style doesn t matter , there are great songs in every style.
If i had to choose just a few artists or bands: New Order Depeche Mode Pet Shop Boys Jan Hammer Toto Van Halen Vangelis Jean Michel Jarre Rihanna Placebo Oasis Blur Garbage Ray Charles Stevie Wonder JS Bach Mozart Alicia Keys/Jay-Z Beyonce Angels&Airwaves Spin Doctors Muse ....
