I'll make a long story short:

I used to own the Kurzweil 2500 with the all of the ROMS for many, many years. I upgraded to the PC3K8 and sold off my old Kurzweil. The problem I didn't realize is that the PC3K8 isn't totally compatible with all of my old sounds... Samples are just fine but it's about the majority of the sounds that are actually programmed that don't play correctly.

Well, I've since moved onto the Korg Kronos and had some sounds that I wanted to recreate but I can't get the original layers of the sounds since they don't sound correctly on the PC3K.

What I wanted to ask for here was if I were to give someone my old sounds from the old Kurzweil, if they could load up a small handful of these sounds and just record a very quick snip of each layer of a couple of sounds. I'll give you the sounds to use on your own as a "thanks for your help" kind of thing.

Maybe a slightly different question too to this is would the Kore 64 expansion help in any way to add compatibility to the older Kurzweil stuff or does it just add more ROMS?
