Hi,
I am looking for the Moog intro sirene in the ELP song Howdown from their album Trilogy. I am a happy owner of the SP6.
Thanks.

Here's my pathetic attempt. Mono, two raw KVA sawtooth waves a bit detuned, plus a bit of noise, using Env2 to sweep from one octave below the note to one octave above the note, then jumping back to the note you play. "Dwee-ooh". The mod wheel widens the sweep to two octaves above and below, but that seems to go too low and a bit too high. We have to play the final "dwum" sound ourselves (an octave down), so get the full "dwee-ooh... dumm" effect.
It was made on a PC3LE, but the "big" instruments can load it, I think.
It's not right; I hope someone with better ears can figure it out.

Many thanks and sorry if I reply just now.
I wish someone would come up with this for the PC3K8. .
Hi,
PC3K can read PC3LE files, so give it a try. You might need to tweak entry values but it should work.

Fran
Here's a version, hot off the K2000R, so "everyone" should be able to read it.
Very similar program: two saws, but no noise; same 'whoop' with Env 2.
