IMHO this is not a perfect way because of not any user will test or use any sound.
So a well loved and used sound for covering or own songs will get more stars and another may get only less stars.
But the second may be much better (closer to the original), but not so usable for most players in this forum.
So I think every uploaded sound is fine for the uploader, except asking for a better one.
So I would do a rating from 1-5 to vote the near to the original sound.
Or did you mean the challenge? Then I'm wrong, this is meaned for normally uploaded sounds.

I meant rating on every upload (not the challenge).

It does not mather if it`s stars or 1-5 or whatever.... I just miss getting or seeing feedback on sounds and uploads.

Thinking of using some time to make sounds for coversongs etc and would be nice to see if people like and use the sounds or not.
PC3K is an amazing synth and could be nice if it's users could wake up and talk/share some more

At the sounds I am downloading I will press "thanks" if the sound is useful to me.
You can see this at every sound.
But it will only match to the users, who load this sound and press thanks too, it will not rate the quality.
A lot of users here are playing in cover bands, so you will have many thanks on sounds of popular music, you will have less ratings on very good sounds of non mainstream titles. You know what I mean?
So my idea was to real rate so sounds, not (only) within a challenge, to tell something about the quality or usability of the sound or setup.
