So does anyone know any commercial ethnic libraries for the PC3 series? In my opinion this is pretty much the only weak part of its soundset.

I agree totally. I don't know of any commercial soundset available. Lots of electronica, etc (Barb, Art of Sound), but no "ethnic".
Just the occasional bagpipe patch or whatever that someone may have posted somewhere - but nowhere where they're all pulled together in one place. Seems some talented designer could clean up on this as I've seen this comment many many times.
In lieu of a commercial set being produced I had thought that having a dedicated Ethnic category on a site like this, or on the VAST forum, that could be set up with categories of instruments, maybe organized under country, that people could fill in with their patches, with country specific setups too.

I've been considering the Eclectic Expanded from Bolder Sounds. http://www.boldersounds.net/kurzweil-c-4_9.html I like the pipes. Anyone using these on a PC3K?
