I know I'm in the minority but since I split my night 50/50 piano/organ I actually prefer the TP8 action. I hope that is still a future option. Does anyone know what the 4 buttons do over the wheels? That is where I put my Voce or XMc2.

Hi,

Artis 7 uses a TP8... The good news is that we have choices now for the 76 size.

The buttons up there in Forte 7 are the same that you can find on the Forte cheek block with the wheels: transposition buttons, tap tempo and variation (programmable) buttons.

Regards,
Fran

1) I'm not interested in the Artis so the TP8 on that is of no interest for me.
2) I 'd still prefer a TP8 on the Forte 7, the model I'm interested in.
3) I frequently use the transposition buttons so their location is problematic for me as I use the Voce or XMc2.

I am also glad to see a a 76 key version of the Forte. However I am similar to Delaware Dave in that I actually like the TP8 keybed for all sounds non-piano. I am using a PC3 now for those sounds and love the feel of that keybed. I am hoping (wishing) that the 3rd option that they come out with for the Forte is the 76key TP8 version. If that configuration is produced I will most certainly buy it.

One thing I read about the Forte is that the KB3 mode is slightly improved. Anyone know what the improvements are? Are they just effects changes (of which we can make the same changes for PC3 KB mode) ?
