As I delve deeper into building Multis for live work, I sometimes can find myself duplicating the same program in different zones in a Multi. If this program has a healthy insert FX, I am now doubling up the number of fx blocks being consumed. (I'm doing this to compensate for the insane way my Roland Fantom handles external midi control - don't get me started).
Is there way for two zones to 'share' the same insert FX block?
Looking at the system, I'm guessing that the answer is 'no' - so could I please request this feature? Ideally, rather than just a 'Y/N' value for the 'enable' parameter, I'd like to be able to select 'Y/N/[1..16]' so that I could select whether to turn it off, turn it on (for the program on that zone) or select the zone I wish to send it to.
Just thought I'd ask ... after all .. nothing ventured, etc ![]()
The only way to share would be to place the Insert FX chain onto one of the Aux busses and use it as a send (100% wet).
