I got my new Forte 7 last week. The first imperessions was a bit disapointting. Originally I was plannig to get PC3A serie, but importer had some problems getting this so I decide to buy Forte. Compared to PC3K/A there are only few hundred preset sounds and way too little amount of good synth and orchestral sounds. I also have Nord Stage 2 EX and on my opinion it has better pianos, rhodes and organs.

I downloaded also extrasounds from Kurzweil homepage but I need more PC3 and K2600 series synth/pad/orchestral sounds. Hopefully there will become chance to download best PC3 and K2600 sounds someday.

you can download the whole PC3+Kore object file from here http://kurzweil.com/content/migration/downloads/pub/Kurzweil/Pro_Products/PC3/System_Files/PC3_V221_UPDATE.ZIP (just load the PC3OB212.PC3 file and save whatever you want, Kore64 files are in the XKORE225.PC3 file) or trough the SoundTower Editor (follow the instruction from this post http://ksetlist.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=1752).

Also in the PC3K downloads section on Kurzweill's website there is a Take 6 and Synthscapes PC3K file that you can download and it will load into your Forte and there are some nice sounds there. And a while back someone uploaded a 40 something MB orchestra library which is a PC3K file and of course will load into your Forte and really does sound good! I recommend joining the Mastering VAST forum as well as the Forte Facebook page and I believe that orchestra file is on both of those forums.
