Hello everyone,
I have a question on the management of the effects with FORTE when used in multitimbral mode with a DAW
The features on the website says that:
Over 1000 complex effect chains, incorporated into programs featuring our award winning effects - reverbs, delays, chorus, flange, phaser, EQs, distortions, rotary speaker simulators, compressors, and more
• 32 total FX units
This means that for every sound I can use the effect assigned to the program?
Is there any limitation?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
The limitation is that 32 FX units that you mention. That's total. So, it depends how many FXs your programs use (variable per program) that you can use more or fewer programs in your sequences.
Regards,
Fran
Hi,
It depends how many FX units each of your programs is using. If yoy use e.g. four programs that each uses 8 FX units -> no problem since total amount of FX units is 32.
The amount of FX units varies from program to program. Some leslie effects uses lots of FX units. Some other programs uses only one.
Hope this helps.

Thanks to both of you, the FX management is clear
One more question about the use with an external midi sequencer
Can I use more than 4 programs?
I know that in MULTI mode the limit is 4, but if in the sequencer I need more sounds can I go over?
Yes. The Forte is fully 16 channel multitimbral regardless of mode. From your sequencer/DAW simply send the appropriate bank/program changes to select the desired programs - details below:
