I am attempting to load a couple of short audio clips into the flash memory of my K6.....I've paid attention to the bit rates and sample rate but the system "sees" the files on my drive but I get an "unrecognized format" message when I attempt to open files.....I tried just loading which seemed to work and said file had been loaded but if it is I cannot find amongst the range of files I designated. I've tried both AUDACITY and WAVOSAUR to ready the files for loading. What am I missing? And yes, I'm on the newest operating system. THANKS!!

Thank you for the completedness (is that a word?) of your answer. Tonight I will re engage this process with the knowledge provided! THANK YOU!
Just one more thing to add to that page.
With the K2 series (and I'm pretty sure it's still the case with the PC3K), you need to make sure that the .wav file is raw PCM. The K series does not support any of the esoteric or compressed .wav formats.
